We are Nano Shield. We respect your privacy, but sometimes we need personal data from you. This statement explains which data we use and how we store, protect and process it. This privacy policy applies to our website www.nanoshieldstore.nl (the "website") and the products and services we offer (the "services"). We handle your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (the "relevant legislation").

To be able to offer our website and services, we process personal data. By "personal data" we mean information that can identify you as a person. This definition follows the relevant legislation.

We may store your data at various moments: when you visit our website, use our services or get in touch with us. We are allowed to process your data because we ask for your consent through this privacy policy. We also need your data to perform the agreement between you and us. If you choose not to share your data, we cannot process and deliver your orders. Beyond that, we will not process your data without your consent unless we are legally required to.

Which data do we collect and what do we do with it?

Social media

If you indicate that you like an item, that item appears in your social media account if you are logged in. Market research

We may ask you to take part in market research. We then use your data for that research. We use these statistics anonymously for Nano Shield. You can close the questionnaire at any time. We do not pass your answers to third parties and never publish them. Your answers are also not linked to your email address.

Newsletter

Nano Shield offers newsletters, so you stay up to date on offers, promotions, new products and other Nano Shield news. To be sure of your consent we use an opt-in system for newsletters. Every message sent this way includes a way to unsubscribe.

Orders

For your order we need your name, email address, address or addresses and payment details. We record, store and process your data to handle the order correctly. This data may also be used for a later warranty claim. When handling your order we pass the necessary personal data to PostNL.

We only use your data for the purposes above, or for a purpose closely connected to them. So your data is never used by us in an unexpected way.

Security

We do everything we can to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, use, alteration or distribution by unauthorised parties. That way people who have nothing to do with your data cannot get to it. We do this through the following measures:

  • encryption of digital files containing personal data
  • securing network connections with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or comparable technology

Retention period

We do not keep your personal data longer than we need it for the purposes described above.

Who do we share your personal data with?

Third parties

Sometimes we share your data with other parties who are not processors. With those parties we agree that they handle your data carefully. They will only use the data in line with the purpose for which we received it from you. We may pass your data on to, for example: PostNL, Google (Analytics), Facebook, Shopify and Shopify add-ons.

Transfer
