The Nano Shield team

Nano Shield is two entrepreneurs who are very different from each other. That is exactly why we complement each other and can move quickly when we need to. You see it in how we work and in the results. We are business partners, we like building a company, and we are friends who want to make traffic safer and more comfortable for everyone.

We both get around by scooter and by car. So we quickly agreed about how poor visibility is when you ride in the rain, and how much safety and comfort that costs. That is where the idea to fix it came from.

What we are aiming at

Mobility, traffic and safety are part of our daily lives. Road safety matters to us. Too often things go wrong, partly because of poor visibility. According to the Dutch victim support fund there are around 430,000 road accidents in the Netherlands every year. We want to change that together with you, by putting water-repellent film on our vehicles. Thanks to that protective layer, scooter and car drivers see better in wet weather. These are our first steps towards safer roads for you, your family and everyone else. Many more steps are needed, and Nano Shield will keep developing solutions. For now: Drive Safe, Drive Nano.

Mission and vision

We are working towards a world where a clear view while riding in the rain is a given. That way we want to make a safe ride possible for everyone and help prevent accidents caused by poor visibility. A water-repellent film, on a windscreen for example, is what makes that possible.
